+# Open Text files
+
+This repository is just an open list of words, harvested originally from https://www.mit.edu/~ecprice/wordlist.10000. 
+
+The list has been trimmed down to only the 5-letter words from the original list, and any words with letters that repeated inside the word have been removed. 
+
+The new list is meant to work with iPhone Shortcuts to generate a random 5-letter starting word for Wordle. 
+
+Aside from the original list at mit.edu, I used the excellent [Regular Expressions 101](https://regex101.com/) and [Notepad++ ](https://notepad-plus-plus.org/) to filter the list.
